About
Join Kevin Breen, Head of School; Larry Gordon ’72, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; and Adam Wilbur, Director of Development for a special Worcester Academy Wine Dinner in Hong Kong. This intimate gathering will offer an exclusive opportunity to spend time with members of Worcester Academy’s leadership team and hear directly from them about the school’s momentum, priorities, and future.
The evening will feature Weiran (Bill) Liu ’10, Master of Wine, who will guide guests through a specially selected collection of wines.
Bill was named a Master of Wine in August 2026, becoming just the fourth Chinese national to earn the designation. The MW is widely regarded as one of the wine industry’s highest professional qualifications and requires exceptional expertise across tasting, theory, business, and research.
Bill’s interest in wine developed alongside his study of French language and culture at Worcester Academy. After graduating in 2010, he attended Emory University, where he earned dual degrees in International Relations and French Literature, later studying at Sciences Po in Paris and completing an internship at Château Margaux. He went on to work in Hong Kong’s fine and rare wine sector, including with Christie’s, before building a career in wine education, consulting, brand representation, and international wine exhibitions.
We hope you will join us for an intimate evening of wine, conversation, and fellowship as we celebrate the Worcester Academy community in Hong Kong and the remarkable achievements of one of our own.
