An Evening with Michael Tien (田北辰)

What can a boarding school education offer a young person beyond the classroom?

Join us in Hong Kong for a special evening with Michael Tien (田北辰) who will reflect on his experience leaving Hong Kong to attend boarding school in the United States and the lasting impact that experience had on his future.

Michael will share what it was like to adapt to life at an American boarding school, the teachers and mentors who influenced him, and the ways the experience helped prepare him for his successful career in business and public service.

This event will give parents and students considering U.S. boarding schools an opportunity to hear firsthand about the academic, personal, and social benefits of the boarding-school experience.

Hosted by Worcester Academy, where Michael graduated in 1968, the evening is intended for families who are exploring whether a U.S. boarding-school education might be the right path for their child.
