What is Founders Day?
Each year, on February 28, alumni, families, and friends come together to honor Worcester Academy’s rich history and enduring legacy.
Founders Day is more than just a celebration—it’s also our annual Giving Day, a time to recognize the profound impact of your generosity on our students, faculty, and community.
What makes my gift on Founders Day special?
Founders Day is more than just a celebration—it’s also our annual Giving Day!
This year, our goal is 541 donations—one for each student currently enrolled. Every gift made throughout February counts toward the goal and helps shape the future of Worcester Academy.
Throughout the month, leaderboards will show progress in real-time, and challenges will enhance the fun and anticipation.
Can I send my gift in via the mail?
Checks received by February 28, will be counted toward the day’s total.

What payment methods do you accept online?
In addition to debit and credit cards, you can make your gift using PayPal or Venmo.
I made a gift earlier this year. Will that count?
If you have already given to Worcester Academy this year, thank you for your gift! We encourage you to participate in Founders Day and support the areas you love with an additional gift. Only gifts made in the month of February count towards the goal 541 donations—one for each student currently enrolled. Your additional gift will inspire others to give as well.
